What is ISO 45001? Why companies implementation of H&S system?

According to the ILO, more than 1.2 million work-related accidents occur worldwide each year, killing an estimated 50,000 people or causing permanent disability. In order to reduce accidents at work and occupational health, and to prevent occupational diseases, the UK Standards Organization, with the help of a number of certification firms, first developed the OHSAS 18001 standard, followed by the ISO ISO. ISO 45001, based on the structure used in ISO 9001.
